Training

There are currently four members signed up for OSHA-10 and in order to be more cost effective I would like to have at least three more.  Please let me know if I can add your name to the list.Looking to the future with regards to specialized training I would like to ask anyone who is a welder or has experience welding to please call me so I can record this information in your file.A reminder to all graduate apprentices that have not passed their state exam and have been out more than one year. You must attend 30 hrs of classroom instruction on changes in the 2005 code in order to renew your apprentice permit.

OSHA

High voltage splicing class for journeyman will be on the 8th of March.  (This class is full and attendees have been notified).  The next class will be for the remaining people who have signed up and they will be notified shortly.
Currently I have one person signed up for OSHA and the First Aid/CPR  class is empty, so if these are things you would like to have or need please call me at 226-3964 so I can schedule the next class.
Just a reminder to those who have graduated the apprenticeship program over a year ago.
You are required to have 30 hrs of classroom training on 2005 code changes prior to renewing your apprentice card. Please call me to set this up.

OSHA-10

We are slowly making our way through the membership as far as OSHA-10 training is concerned. I have had classes during the day in an effort to get some of our members that are out of work trained and Marcel Tancred is having classes in the evening.

If you would like to be OSHA-10 trained please call me and I will get you in the next available class.

Tim Lennon from 3M was in and held a high voltage splicing class on with two of our apprentice classes and it was a great success. I will be sending out class dates for those of you that have signed up very shortly.

Again, it is our goal to get all our members trained in OSHA-10, so if you haven’t had this training please contact me at

226-3964 and I will schedule the next class.
