Please join us Thursday March 4th 2010 9:00am for a Rally at the IBEW Union Hall 48 Airport Rd. Concord, NH. We will meet at the hall for coffee and pastries. At 9:30am we will leave for the state house And Rally out front in favor of SB489 to expand gaming in the state of NH.
This bill will create 100s of construction jobs, tax dollars and permanent jobs when the projects are finished. The push is on, we need as much help as we can get. Come join us your presence is important.

This bill will create 100s of construction jobs, tax dollars and permanent jobs when the projects are finished. The push is on, we need as much help as we can get. Your voice matters and your phone calls will make a difference.

Gaming Dialogue

UNH has opened up "deliberative dialogue" sessions to the public to REGISTER -- we need to have as many of our members sign up to attend.

The events will occur on February 13th from 9am to 4pm in 11 locations across New Hampshire.

These events will only take between 8 to 15 people at each.

They will be small group discussions led by a UNH-trained moderator.

They will occur in these locations:

We need people to show up and voice their support for the casino at Rockingham park, Senator Cilley will be voting on the casino this spring and she will vote on the wishes of her constituency if the anti-gaming people show up at these events and are louder than us, we will lose this valuable opportunity for a great construction project!
Please contact your members and ask them to show up Wed. night at 6:30pm at the Roberge Center 56 N.Main St. Rochester. This will be the first of many of these public hearings that we will be looking for support. Its all about jobs we can not leave anything on the table we must do everything possible to get this legislation passed.

Roger R. Beaudoin

PITTSFIELD, NH- Roger R. Beaudoin, 74, of Pittsfield, NH passed away peacefully on the first hour of January 1, 2010 at home surrounded by family after a long illness.
He was born in Lewiston, Maine on April 7, 1935, the son of Joseph and Bertha (Sutton) Beaudoin. He grew up in Lewiston/Auburn area and attended St. Peter’s School and graduated from St. Dominic High School in 1953.
He proudly served in the US Coast Guard from 1953-61 and honorably discharged. He served on the USCGC Eastwind, USCGC Achusnet and the USCGC Casco. He became an honored member of The Royal Order of Deep Freeze I, Task Force 43 (1955-56) on the USCGC Eastwind.
While on non-active duty he attended Maine Vocational-Technical Institute majoring in Industrial Electricity receiving his diploma in 1959.
On September 4, 1961, he married Georgette Champagne of St. Prosper, Quebec. They raised three children, living in Maine for a short period before finally settling down in NH before the birth of their third child. While living in Lewiston, Maine they were members of St. Croix and Roger was a member of the Knights of Columbus.
He was a Master Electrician and member of the IBEW Local Union 490, where he served from 1961-97 with great passion not only as an electrician but an involved member holding a variety of offices to serve the membership.
Roger was an avid hunter in his early years and spent much of his retirement fishing and camping in the Great Northern Woods of Quebec and going to Alaska with his wife with whom he loved and cherished deeply. He was a loyal and dedicated husband, father and grandfather who was always there to love, support, and guide us in times of need. He enjoyed his life to the fullest having a great sense of humor and loved to play practical jokes whether it was at work or with family. He loved science and planes which he later obtained his license to fly helicopters fulfilling his lifelong ambition to fly.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years Georgette Champagne Beaudoin of Pittsfield; one son, Denis Beaudoin, Sr and his wife Wanda of Pittsfield; one daughter, Michelle Lawrence and her husband Steven of Pittsfield; one brother, Raymond Beaudoin and his wife Kitty of Machias, Maine; one sister, Claudette Bonneau and her husband Maurice of Lewiston, Maine; several grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
He was predeceased by his eldest son Richard R. Beaudoin who died on March 4, 2005.
The family would like to express their sincerest thanks and gratitude to the nurses of the Hospice Home Care Program of the Concord Regional Visiting Nurse Association. Roger specifically requested there be no memorial service and in lieu of flowers, requested donations be made to: Concord Regional Visiting Nurse Association- Hospice Program, 30 Pillsbury Street, Concord, NH, 03301. Parking in the area can be found on the street as well as a parking garage

Thanks to the expertise of the listed journeyman and apprentice’s below, the office building was wired in record time along with the install of 32 solar panels without incident.
