Re: May 1, 2008 Notified Union Meeting:-Disbursement ($0.50 increase for 6-1-08)-Nominations for LU Officers
 
Hello members. It’s that time of year again! Spring is near, and so is our next wage/benefit disbursement.
 
Please be advised the May union meeting will be a notified meeting for the disbursement of our next $0.50 increase beginning on 6-1-08.Nominations of IBEW Local Union 490 Officers will also be held. Officers to be nominated are:
 
President
Vice-President
Recording Secretary
Business Manager/Financial Secretary
Treasurer
Executive Board (6 members —2 each from zone A, B, & C)
Examining Board (5 members)
 
 
After nominations, correspondence will be forwarded relative to instructions on how to make a written request for an-absentee ballot and address to use.
 
The election will take place on Saturday, June 7, 2008 at the IBEW Local Union 490 Hall, 48 Airport Rd. Concord, NH between the hours of 7:00am to 12:00pm.
 
A run-off election will take place Saturday June 21, 2008, if required.
 
Ballots will be counted at the IBEW Local Union 490 Hall, 48 Airport Rd. Concord, NH, immediately following the closing of the polls.

Section 4.08. “Normal construction labor market” is defined to mean the following geographical area plus the commuting distance adjacent hereto which includes the area from which the normal labor supply is secured:
