It is with great pride that the N.H. Young Democrats and the Merrimack County Democrats announce the First Annual NHYD John and Robert F. Kennedy Awards Reception to be held at 5:00pm on Friday, October26, 2007 at the IBEW Hall, 48 Airport Road in Concord, NH.
                                                                                  
                                                     

This is a great opportunity for Young Democrats from across NH and for Concord-area Democrats to meet our state's key politicos and policymakers, discuss the upcoming elections, and especially to interact with one another in what is quickly shaping up to be the best cocktail -hour of 2007
Come hear Elizabeth Edwards -- attorney, activist and wife of presidential candidate U.S. Sen. John Edwards - give her thoughts on involving young people and advancing progressive values in 2008.
We also will present the C. Arthur Soucy NHYD Lifetime Achievement Award to Mike Vlacich - State Director of Economic Development at DRED, former Deputy Chief of Staff and Campaign Manager for Gov. Lynch, former NHDP Executive Director and Young Democrat - and the JFK/RFK Young Democrat of the Year Award to a deserving YD. You can expect many other surprises too!
