As you have probably already heard, we lost the vote in the house on SB489 to expanded gaming in the State of NH, 212 to 158 but not without a fight. Local 490 members and other building trades participated in many events to show their support for the bill. We had two separate phone banks that took place at the hall and three separate rallies’ that took place at the state house and at each one we had an awesome attendance.
We may have lost that fight but we are winners in proving that we can put up a good fight. Your efforts did not go unrecognized; everybody saw and heard you…
We will keep you posted on any new status of the gaming bill.
